Bulgaria

Yes, on my way to the airport again, this time for an only, (but still exciting!) five-day-trip in Europe. What's the occasion? Let me give you a short update;)

The last three months, after my Phoenix/ LA/ Toronto adventure, things started out falling into place. I was asked to take up a teaching job at the language school in Amersfoort and at the same time I got called by Noah, an awesome guy I've met in Toronto last year. He's from the Netherlands, (but adopted from South Africa), only 19 years old and called by the Lord into fulltime ministry. He's already travelling around the globe, most of the year. Despite his young age he has a big vision and faith to see God moving in this world, bringing people into an intimate relationship with Jesus. Therefore he recently launched a new ministry, named "Deeper still". That's where I'm stepping into the picture: he asked me to work with him, rolling out his vision and plans. 

His phone call was God's right timing, I'd been praying about what my next step would be. I love teaching, I like the fruitbusiness, but I also love being part of a ministry team, seeing people getting to know Jesus, receiving the healing and purpose in their life like I received. And that's why I wholeheartedly said yes to Noah's invitation. 

Shortly after my "yes", Noah and I got invited to join a leaders retreat in Bulgaria, with all European leaders of Catch the Fire. Deeper Still is not a hub from Catch the Fire, but we're partnering. The goal is to partner with as much as possible christian ministries, to use each others gifts and sources, but only built on relationships and being united in Jesus. 

What's the plan we're working on right now? Noah has a good friendship with John and Carol Arnott, the founders of Catch the Fire. These inspiring people are already in their eighties, but still traveling the world to minister to people! And they love to come to the Netherlands, in April, to work with us offering five "revival meetings" and a special day to encourage leaders. Cool! Looking forward!
